The Fallen

Exhaustion paled lips
Lethargy shuttered eyes
Devils danced a jolly jig
Around trembling feet
Tripping her up to see the skies

Her mind bleeds empty to the earth
As faeries float on freely by

Air flows in, air flows out
Through sandy coral canyons
Eyes stare upon clouds gone by
Mirrors upon the surface

Nothing is reflected
Scattered jigsaw floats within
